9 June, 2008 : - - Queensland’s junior surfing stocks look promising with the opening round of the 2008 Quiksilver Queensland Junior Series completed on the Gold Coast today. The state’s top junior surfers unleashed in the stormy one-metre waves of Duranbah Beach as they shredded and barrelled their way through the final day of the prestigious tournament. Gold Coast surfers were the big winners securing victory across the four contested divisions.
